The weekend of (Saturday,
April 30, 2005)
Master S. Kwan held his
Annual Kung Fu Championships
in Chicago, llinois.
The performances and competitions
were of the highest caliber.
All Students represented their training well.
We saw Masters Demonstrations, Sparring, Weapons, forms,
Full Contact Continuous Fighting, Tai Chi Forms, Tai Chi Weapons, Seven Star Praying Mantis Forms and Weapons.

At the end of the night, all the Disciples, Grand Students,
and Students of Master S. Kwan got together to present
a
"Certificate"
of
"Head Of Family"
of the
Kung Fu Academy of Chicago
It reads;
Grand Master S. Kwan.
The
9th Generation Successor Master to
the
Northern Shaolin Seven Star Praying Mantis System.
Having been taught by GrandMaster John Chung Lee,
Master of the Hwa Yu Tai Chi System, and
8th Generation Successor Master of the
Seven Star Praying Mantis System.
